Hazardous Atmospheres
Hazardous Atmospheres
Hazardous Atmospheres Safety Programme is a comprehensive, life-critical course designed to help workers identify, assess, monitor, and control hazardous atmospheric conditions in high-risk workplaces. It covers toxic gases and vapours, oxygen deficiency and enrichment, flammable and explosive atmospheres, combustible dusts, gas detection and monitoring, emergency response and rescue, ventilation and respiratory protection, workplace exposure monitoring, ATEX hazardous-area classification, and human factors.
Through real-world industrial disaster case studies, interactive gas-monitoring activities, scenario-based exercises, and knowledge checks, participants learn how to recognise invisible atmospheric hazards, interpret monitoring results, apply appropriate control measures, respond to alarms and emergencies, and prevent potentially fatal incidents.
